Odanadi, Mysore, India, February 15-27, 2014.
An excellent opportunity to learn permaculture and the profound impact it can have in a developmental environment. The host site, a children's charity, has begun using permaculture strategies to provide food onsite, restore the soil and build resilience in the face of increasing costs of food, water and energy.
Between indoor classroom time, outdoor garden time, practicals and field trips, students are invited to study over two weeks the permaculture design course syllabus, as laid out in A Designers Manual by Bill Mollison. The aim of the final group design project will be to devise strategies, from pattern to detail, to help the children of Odanadi enjoy healthier, happier lives.
All proceeds will go directly to Odanadi. Please enquire for further details.
